Pastor’s Corner
Holy Week
Greetings everyone!
I am sending the April newsletter out a little early and in advance of Holy Week so you will have all the details you need to participate in our observances if you so choose. We are plugging our way through the OT in chronological order and it has been so interesting to mesh together the voices of the prophets with the corresponding historical stories of the kings of Israel and Judah. At this point, I’m not quite sure when we will finish (I’m literally crafting the curriculum as we go!) — I’m estimating end of June. Which means we will start our summer study early July and carry that through August.
Speaking of the summer, for those of you already planning ahead, in the summer we typically do a topical/book type study and I will announce that title in the May newsletter. Looking a little further into the calendar, I haven’t quite figured out what study I will do next year, but as always I will offer my own curriculum for the fall 2026-spring 2027 “term.” I may offer two shorter studies (one fall and one spring) versus something that lasts 9 months. But I’m not sure yet. Whatever we do we will plan to start mid to late September. Stay tuned 😀.
Finally, I’m excited to report that I’ve been approved to serve at Hope Heals Camp, a week-long retreat dedicated to serving individuals and entire family units affected by disabilities (and the ministry we are supporting this year). I will be attending alongside my daughter, Sydney-Kate. We will be volunteering the week of June 21-26. Part of our participation requirements include fundraising to pay for our camp fees (and to offset the cost of the campers and their families who do not have to pay to attend). I will include the link if you would like to contribute. Please do not feel obligated to do so at all! You all are so generous with your donations to my ministry already!
See below for information about Holy Week services. I also will send an email with these links to those registered for the Adonai study.
May God bless you with peace as you celebrate his grace and mercy,
Kimberly
